The beauty of the blogosphere is that you constantly learn about new things from fellow bloggers. I was just checking out a new running blog called Pace of Conrad by fellow BrooksID runner Ryan Conrad and I saw his post on the new movie ATHLETE, which is set to be released to DVD in March 2010. The movie looks amazing, so I decided to post the trailer here as well - thanks Ryan!
"ATHLETE is a film that examines the growing popularity of endurance sports and profiles four everyday individuals - cancer survivor, blind senior citizen and twin sisters - who compete in marathons and triathlons and are redefining what it means to be an 'athlete'."

I'm a 30-something dad, teacher, and slightly obsessive runner. I spend most of my time chasing around my three little kids, running with my canine buddy Jack, and teaching anatomy and exercise physiology courses at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. Also, much to my wife's dismay, I have a major running shoe problem.
