website with several of the new Fivefingers models. These include the Fivefingers KSO Trek for trailrunning (available in Men's only for now - though there is a petition out for a women's VFF Trek to be developed), and the Vibram Fivefingers Moc (Men's) and Performa (Women's). Below are photos of each of the new models, with model descriptions taken directly from the Vibram website. For more information, you can visit the Vibram Fivefingers product page.
My Take: All three models are made with kangaroo leather, and as a result the prices are pretty steep ($125 for the Trek, $110 for the Moc and Performa). Although the KSO Trek's are appealing given my experience running over rocks in my regular KSO's (painful!), the current pricing is going to prevent me from splurging for any of these models. I'm hoping that they come out with a non-kangaroo leather version of the Trek at a lower price-point. The one model that I find to be most intriguing is the Vibram Fivefingers Bikila, which is set to be released sometime in early 2010 - I'll likely be saving my money for that one.
