Running Blisters: Horrific Footage from "The Distance of Truth"


Over the past few weeks I've been dealing with the fallout from some nasty foot blisters resulting from running the Vermont City Marathon in the rain (see my blister photo if you dare). I thought I had it bad, then I watched this YouTube video of Ferg Hawke's feet after his running of the Badwater Ultramarathon (beware - it's quite gruesome):



Hawke's running of the Badwater was chronicled in a new documentary called "The Distance of Truth." I'm a big fan of "Running on the Sun," which is an older documentary about Badwater, and look forward to checking out "The Distance of Truth." You can view a trailer below:
